The subject of this piece is one Mr. Bonejangles, a Wake Forest, NC resident who hangs out on his tire swing year-round. His owners dress him according to the season or holiday (he's also been dressed in football jerseys, back to school gear, etc.) 

We pass him on the way to Oliver's school, and it's always fun to see when he's changed his outfit (especially when, on occasion, we spot one of the owners outside in the process of giving him a makeover.)

I plan to paint at least a couple of other local scenes - the town we're living in now has a ton of personality and color, and I'm looking forward to transferring some of that personality to canvas.
